TOHO Animation has released the first teaser for the anime Hai to Gensou no Grimgar (Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash), a series based on a light novel, which will premiere in January 2016.
The "Teenagers x Fantasy" series follows the protagonist "Haruhito" and his companions in the world called Grimgar, where they must form a team and cooperate to learn new skills to survive together in a hostile environment. Ryosuke Nakamura is directing and writing the scripts at A-1 Pictures, and Mieko Hosoi is designing the characters.
Jumonji and Shirai launched the light novel in 2013.
